We are hiring a Communications Coordinator. The ideal candidate is well-versed in computer programs such as Word, Excel and Google products; is a self-starter, punctual, and a quick learner; and is personable with parishioners and community members. Knowledge of Church Windows and website skills is a plus. The successful candidate will be highly organized and have an excellent eye for detail including strong typing and proofreading skills. Most importantly, the person selected will handle confidential information from time to time and as such must be trustworthy and able to comport himself or herself in an utmost confidential manner. Our Communications Coordinator reports to the Pastor for administrative directives. This position is part time, 4 to 5 days per week in our church in northern McHenry County. Compensation to be determined but also commensurate with experience, skills and knowledge.
